On June 25, 2024, the world was blessed with the radiant light of Jaslyn Isabelle Alvarez. Born in Silver Spring, Maryland, to Jordanny Alvarez and Raymont Parker, Jaslyn arrived with a sparkle in her eyes and a joy that filled every room she entered. From the very beginning, Jaslyn’s smile could melt hearts. She had a sweet, playful spirit and a love for life that was far beyond her years. Whether she was giggling at silly faces, dancing when her parents sang to her, or snuggling close during quiet moments, Jaslyn brought laughter and love into every moment. She adored food, music, and—most of all—her big sister, Brianna. The bond they shared was unbreakable, filled with playful moments and gentle giggles. Jaslyn’s favorite days were the simple ones—singing, clapping, dancing, and being held in the arms of those who loved her most.Though her time here was short, Jaslyn’s presence left an unforgettable imprint on every heart she touched. She was a light, pure and bright, who reminded us of joy’s simplicity and the power of unconditional love.
On June 15, 2025, Jaslyn peacefully returned to the arms of her Heavenly Father. She was welcomed by loving ancestors, and though we mourn her physical absence, we find peace knowing her soul is at rest and her spirit continues to shine.
Jaslyn is survived by her devoted parents, Jordanny Alvarez and Raymont Parker; her cherished sister, Brianna Peralta; and her loving step-sisters, Ayana and Anila Robinson. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that Jaslyn lived a life full of love, even if for only a short while. Her joy, her laugh, and her light will remain with us always.
