Hope Martinez

Hope Gloria Martinez passed away peacefully on Friday, September 19th, 2025 in Bethesda, Maryland. She was born May 11th, 1964 to Gloria Imperial and Danny Martinez in Stockton, California. She is survived by her sister, Denise, her four children, Shavon, Vanity, Nico and Nounn, 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandsons.

Hope was a strong independent woman, who loved her children.

A message from Shavon: She taught me how to cook and to sew. She made all my formal gowns and I am going to miss her very much. I can still hear her laugh. She has given me wonderful childhood memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life. I’m so happy she can finally rest and be at peace. I love you mom forever and forever!!

A message from Nounn: Even when we didn’t have much she still made sure I was taken care of and fed and after my adoption she always made sure I got some snacks and supplies and clothes.

We will always carry our mother's memory in our hearts. Forever Hopie's kids.
