Haydee Barnes

Haydee Bajana Barnes, 96, of Washington, DC, passed away on April 10, 2025.

Haydee was born on June 5, 1928, to Blanca and Juan Bajana. She pursued a career in Physical Therapy.

In 1973, Haydee married Otis T. Barnes, and together they built a life filled with cherished memories. They were known for their love of life, close friends, and travels.

Haydee will be lovingly remembered and survived by her sisters, Maria de Lourdes Porro and Teresa Colarich and predeceased by Gladys Astudillo, Nelly Bajana, and Juan Bajana, Jr. She will also be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews, and stepchildren, Nancy McKeraban, Candice Carruthers, and Otis T. Barnes III.

A burial service will be held at Gates of Heaven Cemetery in Silver Spring, MD on May 16, 2025 at 11:30am.
