Elise Dorsaint

Elise Dorsaint was born on October 28, 1948, in the North Region of Haiti. From an early age, Elise’s life was guided by faith, compassion, and a love for music. He accepted Christ as his Savior at a young age and found great joy in singing praises to God. His deep faith remained a cornerstone of his life and a source of strength to those around him.

Elise was united in holy matrimony with Christiane Guerrier Dorsaint, with whom he shared a loving and faithful bond. Together, they built a life filled with care, mutual respect, and devotion to their family and community.

Elise was blessed with three children — Golson, Mickline, and Elie Junior Dorsaint — whom he loved deeply. He took pride in guiding and supporting them, always encouraging them to walk in faith and integrity. His children and grandchildren were his greatest joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

In his leisure time, Elise enjoyed singing and listening to the news, often sharing thoughtful reflections about the world and his community. Those who knew him will remember his kind spirit, gentle humor, and his passion for music and conversation.

On October 1, 2025, Elise transitioned peacefully from this life. He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted spouse Christiane Dorsaint; his beloved children Golson, Mickline, and Elie Junior Dorsaint; and his precious grandchildren Jacob, Geriani, and Christine.

He is also survived by his loving siblings Obed and Alerte Dorsaint, and extended family members Guillou, Anise, Jasmine, and Guillene Dorsaint, as well as many friends and loved ones who will forever hold him in their hearts.

Elise’s life was a song of faith, love, and perseverance — a melody that will continue to echo in the hearts of all who knew him.
