Duane Edward Carneal, of Cambridge, Maryland, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2025, at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus, surrounded by the love and compassion of his wife, Suzanne Carneal; his brother, Curtis Carneal (Alisha); and his daughter, Maryanne Clark.
Born in Cambridge, Maryland, Duane was the son of the late Ann Clark and Cleveland Carneal Jr. He was a devoted husband to Suzanne for 36 years, and their marriage was a beautiful testament to love, loyalty, and shared joy.
Duane will be remembered for his big heart, quick wit, and genuine love for life. He especially enjoyed sharing good meals, relaxing with his favorite TV shows, and spending hours immersed in computer games.
In addition to his wife, daughter, and brother, Duane is survived by his son, Koadey Kambell; his sisters, Sharon Bonneau (Robert) and Darlene Carneal; as well as many extended family members and dear friends who will miss him deeply.
