It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Calvin Tyrone Jones, 78, who departed this life on June 6, 2026. Calvin was a lifelong resident of the Washington, D.C. area and a man whose greatest pride was his family.

Affectionately known as "The Handsome One," Calvin was a proud graduate of Phelps High School and continued his education at Alabama A&M University before beginning his career in graphic arts and design. He was known for his strength, wisdom, kindness, and unwavering devotion to those he loved.

A devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Calvin built a life centered on family. He cherished every opportunity to spend time with his children and grandchildren, offering guidance, love, and support that will continue to shape their lives for generations to come. His legacy is one of hard work, unconditional love, and a steadfast commitment to those he held dear.

Though he will be deeply missed, the memories he created and the values he instilled will forever remain in the hearts of his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
